It's cross stitch, but not as you know it!
Gone are images of elderly ladies stitching monograms onto linen handkerchiefs. Cross stitch has become the craft of rebels and renegades as a form of self expression; from feminist revolutionaries to pop culture enthusiasts. Our cross stitch designs are funny, quirky, snarky and often very inappropriate. If you lean towards the unconventional and love to drop f-bombs like they're going out of fashion, then you're in the right place: these are for you.

An exciting collaboration, a fantastic new book recommendation and a FREE cross stitch pattern, that's what!
I've been sitting on some pretty exciting news for several weeks that I've been dying to share. Penguin Vintage Books asked me if I’d like to commission a FREE cross stitch pattern to tie in with the upcoming release of Can't Even by Anne Helen Petersen. And of course I jumped at the chance! The book is all about burnout, a word we hear frequently these days and something we've come to accept as part of being a millenial. Even though I'm a member of Gen-X, as a small business owner, burnout has become a close personal friend and constant companion of mine.
To tie in with the release of the book on the 14th of January 2021, I've designed this simple pattern for you to download absolutely FREE.
Whether you're a cross stitching ninja or a complete newbie, there's no doubt that it's a fantastic altrnative to screen scrolling and forces you to slow down, be present and chill the fuck out! With so many stitchers offering their own take on what was once thought of as boring and twee it's easy to see why it's experiencing such fun and fierce revival. Long may it continue!
